As an observer, it appears that the 2000 panel skylight is fully installed at the “Core”  (Yes, I counted every single one of them….just kidding) and retailers are opening up one by one within the ongoing construction zone.  Rocky Mountain Soap shown below, displays a new type of retail architecture, new to the Core,  as it features a two story facade/frontage. It contributes to an interesting mallscape that opens up towards the sky.   Certainly beyond human scale for indoor shopping, it may pique interest/curiosity for shoppers walking alongside retailers as signage is not directly apparent in certain locations (without looking way up).  A wave of retail design where signage plays less importance,  a.k.a. strong brand identity.  You know you’ve stumbled upon an Apple store without actually seeing an Apple logo…the employees in a singular primary color T-Shirt, aluminum skinned monitors aligned in a neat simple fashion……..but thats up for another discussion. :)
